Peer support is a relationship unlike any other. Because of their own lived experiences, a peer can offer you a level of understanding, acceptance, and assistance that would be nearly impossible to find anywhere else.

Peers are equals. Peer relationships are built on mutual trust, compatibility, and respect. Our peers get your military life because they’ve lived it.

And there is never any stigma to be overcome here because we are all on the same team; we are all in the same boat.

Talking veteran to veteran means connecting with someone who’s truly been where you are.  They have shared the same (or similar) struggles as you, they have been trained the way you have been trained, they understand deployments, and they’ve been through (and may still be going through) the challenges of reintegration back into civilian life.

And that also goes for family members of veterans.  We have military spouses and family members on staff here as well, so you can connect with peers who get those unique challenges too.
